A printed manual would be wonderful. It would not have to be a
reference manual, because the details of commands can easily be
gotten from a help file. But it would be a great to have a
manual that you could look through and find out what the
possibilities are via rough descriptions of various command
families. The "profile" series of commands you told me about,
for example, are great for my purposes and make my life much
easier. All I needed was to know that such a thing exists. That
is the kind of thing it is much easier to learn from a printed
manual that you can leave lying around and thumb through once and
a while when you need an idea.
