Well, for someone who may be suffering cranial/rectal inversion, you
don't seem too bad either ;o))

There seems to be sufficient evidence that saw palmetto reduces swelling
of prostate tissues in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia:

http://www.herbs.org/current/sawshrink.html
In the first American randomized clinical trial of saw palmetto, the
respected prostate herb proved beneficial in reducing swelling of
prostate tissues in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
While numerous studies have confirmed the ability of saw palmetto
extract (SPE) to reduce BPH symptoms, this is the first evidence that it
actually shrinks enlarged prostate tissues (Overmyer, 1999).

http://cancer.ucsd.edu/outreach/PublicEducation/CAMs/sawpalmeto.asp
It is important to understand that BPH is not a malignant condition.
There is no available evidence that saw palmetto is of value in the
treatment of prostate cancer. Saw palmetto should be used to alleviate
symptoms of disease, not as a curative therapy.
------

Sadly (and with great disappointment), I see that you didn't
present any facts or evidence, only an opinion of undetermined
veracity (or mendacity). Can you cite any allopathic authority
or double blind study that used saw palmetto successfully in the
actual treatment of prostate cancer, as opposed to its' symptoms?

Awaiting your response,
