I was going to ask where the old crowd went. I had no one (.. OK OK a 
reducing number of old mates ...) to gloat to about finishing the degree 
(even if the kid graduated from pre-school before her mom did from Uni)

Oh yea there is that... A local pagan list we've got only has a handful 
of punsters active & the rest are lurkers - & as O-pun warfare is _not_ 
a spectator sport these are the ones complaining about the efforts to 
keep the puns on topic

Woooo Woooo.... a rumor. Dr Who Telly movie with a female Dr. They've 
named .. goddess I can never remember her name .. it's Patty from 
Ab-Fab. & I think she's got the talent to pull it off - more in a Tom 
Baker-esque way than some of the more serious goes... It'll be interesting.

& there's another rumor about another attempt & HHGTTG but it names that 
gormless Mr Grant as Arther Dent ...
