| subject: | Delta Airbus A220 flies |
The first Airbus A220 of Delta Air Lines has flown for the first time. The aircraft took-off from the Canadian Mirabel on Saturday for a test flight of 2 hours and 53 minutes. Delta is the first American customer to use the A220. Delta has ordered a total of 75 A220-100s. The aircraft (formerly Bombardier CS100) can accommodate 109 passengers. The American company will start using the A220 in early 2019 on regional routes. After AirBaltic, SWISS and Korean Air, Delta becomes the fourth user of the smallest Airbus type. --- D'Bridge 3.99 SR33* Origin: AVIATION ECHO HQ (2:292/854) SEEN-BY: 203/0 221/0 1 229/275 426 240/5832 261/38 280/464 5003 292/854 8125 SEEN-BY: 335/364 423/120 633/0 267 280 281 412 509 712/132 620 848 770/1 SEEN-BY: 2320/100 @PATH: 292/854 280/464 712/848 633/280 267 |
