The problem is the cost of protecting your rights. You need to
spend the time and money to go to court to have improper restrictions
declared improper. That's where organizations like ACLU (which
hypocritically does't recognize or defend RTKBA) and the NRA (which
hypocritically chose not to raise the 2nd amendment in its suit to
overturn the "assault weapons" ban) are supposed to come in --
everyone pools their money to protect their mutual rights.
Unfortunately, even the managers of our pooled resources have
their own agendas that cause them to look out for themselves
before they look out for their "employers", we who have contributed.
