A slight modification:
You don't need to use cmd.exe with tee32.
You should use:
tee32.exe mypgm.exe mypgm-cmdline>outputfilename.ext
And, if you are going to be using tee32, you should use the
lDos() command, rather than the Dos() command. Dos() runs
commands using the command processor, whereas lDos() runs
the command directly.
Here is an example, using sc32.exe with the "-?" option
(show command line format):
lDos("tee32.exe", "sc32.exe -? >foo.bar")
This will place the output of sc32 in foo.bar, and also show
it in a console window, that will be closed when sc32 is
complete.
If you don't want to see the console window, use:
lDos("tee32.exe", "sc32.exe -? >foo.bar", _START_HIDDEN_)
This is essentially what TSE's compiler macro does.
Finally, note that some of this is v4 Windows version specific. Console
windows
are handled differently by Windows programs vs. Console programs.
