Antiseptic/antibacterial 2. Anti-viral (in vitro) 3. Anti fungal Some few also (chamomile ) have granulation properties Thsee properties make them useful medicines. Many Oils too seem to have psycholocal benefits like calming (lavender) or invigorating (Rosemary) Some have been tested on disabled kids and memory to good effect Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater just because of af ew "over-the-top" claims.
