I have heard that too, but i believe that's for recently proposed
restrictions...neighborhoods that already had those restrictions were not
afftected...yet.
We have several housing development areas here that restrict such
things...even what kind of roofing material and siding.
I don't know why anyone would want to buy a house they couldn't
personalize....especialy when wood shingles are required.
I'm glad my county has no such restrictions.
