BL> The truck is pretty much the same condition, but I've been
BL>communicating with a fellow on the north side of the lake that rebuilds
BL>race cars and has a nice garage at home. We're planning to flatbed the
BL>Dodge in the next couple weeks and take it up there. He says he found a
BL>set of motor mounts for the 318 engine, and will lend a hand in
BL>fabricating the adapters to the frame. He also has buukuu contacts for
BL>getting the drive line shortened and trued. Once this gets done, we'll
BL>trailer it back here and I can begin working on the permanent ignition
BL>and other wiring.
What year chassis are you working with? That 318 is one of the most common
motors in Dodges after about 1968 and the frames were built to take the
factory mounts no matter what engine was factory installed.
BL> I've been on the phone for hours getting his mailer and BBS problems
