It was basically a glorified episode of the old show, eh?  Cute...but I
really hoped for something a little more...contemporary.
Mike's dry sense of humor showed through at times, but I suppose *that*
was lost on the casual watchers.

It was a cute exercise in nostolgia (albiet with a couple of new songs
tossed into the mix), but I could get that by re-watching my tapes of
the 60s show.  If they did this as a sitcom type show, it might have
been more interesting if they showed each guy in a different
place/career...maybe bringing them together for a reunion concert or
another stab at the success that eluded them in the plots of the
original show.
