The Airbus plant in American Mobile has assembled the hundredth aircraft.
The production line was opened in September 2015 and now delivers four
airplanes per month, intended for the North and South American market.
 
The factory focuses specifically on the assembly of the Airbus A320 series.
The hundredth copy is an A320neo and was delivered to Frontier Airlines.
 
Up to now, Mobile A320s and A321s have been rolled out for the Air Lease
Corporation, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier
Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue and Spirit Airlines.
 
Airbus has factories in Germany, France and China, in addition to the US.
