I still need to find a fido compatible mailer for Linux that'll answer 
dialup calls.  That or something that would drop a dos dialup user into 
a telnet session to the other box.  At that point, it'd be the issue of 
getting DOS doors working under Linux, or finding Linux ports of my 
favorite games.

Even at that point, not sure if I have the interest to do it....
