Here is one for all of you in to law.  I am creating a Game using Qbasic that 
is based on Voyager.  I need to know if I can legally do this without having 
to give gratuites to Paramount.  I do plan on distributing the program, but 
it will be freeware.  If it is legal, to what extent is it legal?  How much 
of the story may I "steel"?
The story line for the game is a condensed version of Voyager's encounters 
with the Hirogen.  Maybe that will help you in answering my question of
