The Russian newspaper Novaja Gazeta has documents in its possession about
the transport of the Buk rocket that took down flight MH17 in July 2014.
The documents show that more than 170 troops from the anti-aircraft unit
were in the Ukrainian border region.
 
Two days before the plane was shot from the sky on the way from Schiphol to
Kuala Lumpur, the troops were given dry rations for five days.
 
As a result of the disaster, all 298 passengers were killed, including 193
Dutch people. The international research team JIT has already established
that the pro-Russian separatists had access to the anti-aircraft
installation, which was from the 53rd anti-aircraft brigade.
