DR>and wining. If you bought a new Corvette, or Viper or whatever, and

DR>the dealer found out, do you honestly think they would continue to
DR>warranty it? I think they would put it under severe, absusive driving.
DR>Admitably the Dealer might try to hide your habits under the covers but
DR>if the factory found out they would refuse to refund the dealer and they

It doesn't matter if you race your car or not, as long as you haven't
done any modifications to the car they're obligated to repair anything
that's under warranty. Whether it breaks just driving down the road, or
at the drag strip, race track, whatever. That's why so many people
install a nitrous system to a car under warranty, because if it blows
the engine you just disconnect everything and take it in for warranty
work. Yes, they'll see when they tear everything apart and see burnt
pistons/rings that it has to be nitrous abuse. But what can they do?
They have no hard proof if you disconnected everything and took it out
of the car.
Besides, all you have to do is say "I think something broke, can you
check it out?" You don't have to say, "This weekend I was at the drag
strip and I dropped the clutch at 4 grand and I dunno what happened,
but I think I broke something..."
