JF> I know nothing about the ninth movie other than all the regular stars
JF> have been signed and that its working title is "Prime Directive".

 MXM> Intriguing. ^Raise-Eyebrow.
JF> And no sooner do I say that than "official" word comes that the
JF> working title is now "Star Trek IX"... (sigh)
The roman numeral police are going to be after them. Again. Still
I somehow doubt it'll remain Star Trek Nine solely.

 - though on the other hand, given that both Star Trek series presently on
television 'ave references to the number nine (Deep Space Nine und
Voyager's Seven of Nine) they might just go with it.
It's actually quite a good title, all things considered, as it
subconsciously references the "other" series within the Trek Universe
while at the same time makes the statement "obviously we're doing pretty
well with this Star Trek thing, because there are now NINE of them".
In fact, it's so brilliant in its simplicity, it 'asn't a chance in
 Milton's pitt of remaining so.
