First off, get a copy of the Songwriter's Market book. It has listings of all
kinds of publishers, record companies, and almost everyone else in music. It
is a very valuable resource in this business.
Secondly, learn how to spell a bit better... Regardless of what they told you
in school about 'feeling good' about yourself being the most important thing
in life, you ARE judged by how you represent yourself, both in person and in
writing. At the VERY least, use a spell checker. It IS important, regardless
of the bull that they told you in school.
Good luck! This is a very difficult business to get into, and probably even
harder to stay in, but it's worth it if you love what you are doing.
