JF> I know nothing about the ninth movie other than all the regular stars
JF> have been signed and that its working title is "Prime Directive".
 Intriguing. ^Raise-Eyebrow.
Judith und Garfield Reeves-Stevens must be pleased. They've already
written a Trek TOS novel under that name.
Of which, I am presently reading as I only recently purloined it.
As Trek novels go, it's quite good, but as previously mentioned it
is a TOS novel, ergo unlikely they've licensed much other than the
 title for the movie.
Though we all know, where Kirk is concerned, that it might just as
 easily 'ave been titled
"Prime Directive? We don't need no stinkin Prime Directive!"

Fa> Also, are there any plans in the works for a new Star Trek series?
JF> Not that I've heard about. But I have been hearing this rumour that
JF> Voyager is going back to the Alpha Quadrant and the overall story will
JF> be adjusted to compensate for it.
She was probably refering to the numerous attempts to get Sulu
a Trek TOS TV series of 'is own. Of which Paramount simply won't
because they realize it would warp ahead of Voyager und DS9
 in a nanosecond.
