I've had a scanner for some time now and used to have a radio in my car with
the law enforcement channels on it, but let my wife talk me into selling it.
I have several close friends who have their license and who have offered to
help me with some used equipment, so I'll probably get started on the license
soon.

This almost hurts to talk about. I just sold my favorite gun, a Springfield
Arms .45 cal, model 1911-A1. Looks like I'm going .22 also. My grandson and
I love to shoot and have even used clay pigeons as targets. I like that,
because I don't have to worry about picking them up when we get finished.
