* Ted Harrison writes to All, on Wednesday January 01 1997 at 09:18: TH> The 50/99 54/99 link has been down since last Thursday. As you can see it's up again. A couple of questions... 1. Was any outbound mail for 3:50/99 deleted due to excessive hogging of disk space? :-) 2. I notice that some areas which used to be Aust-only (likely due to a severed link somewhere a long time ago) now have international flow. I import a scattered few international areas, and I am concerned that we will end up with duping if the new link also brings international traffic into the areas... These are the areas I get from 1:279/14: 80XXX BASIC7 DIRTY_DOZEN - doesn't go past 3:635/728 DOS_INTERNET ECPROG FIDONEWS - doesn't go past 3:635/728 FMAIL_HELP FTSC_PUBLIC - doesn't go past 3:635/728 NETLINE OTHERNETS POWER_BAS UFGATE - doesn't go past 3:635/728 VIRUS VIRUS_INFO VIRUS_NFO - doesn't go past 3:635/728 XENIA The above areas, besides the 5 "local feed only" areas are fed to 3:50/99. 3. Are grunt nodes allowed access to this area? It just appeared on my system spontaneously one day. :-) Cheers. ---* Origin: Sensation: Melbourne AUSTRALIA.
