The general forecast information from the NOAA weather radio at Los
Angeles is now being transmitted in that weird computerized voice.
That's the same system that the USCG weather and VOLMET weather stations
have been using for some time on HF. San Diego NOAA weather radio
(KEC62) has not started this yet. I would think they might start
incorporating such a system soon. That computerized voice sounds as if
it is a guy with a Swedish accent. Listen to it for a while and you'll
agree.
