 The Laws vary from State to State. But basiclly it is NOT illegal to
Have a Scanner in Any State. BUT it is Illegal to Listen to them in some
states while Outside your Home. Particularly while in a Car. But in some
Areas if you get too near any Police or Fire action with a
handheld(or any portable unit in Operation) you Could have it
Confiscated.
