In Electronics Australia magazine there is a review of the new ICOM 
C-PCR1000
It's not a Pc-card as I expected but an external black box
whitch in some respects is better than an internal version because of the 
high Rf noise internaly
the ICOM IC-PCR1000 comes with:
1; main unit (black box)
2; mains power supply (plugpak)
3; RS232 patch cord
4; TNC adaptor
5; a mountable whip antenna
6; instruction book
7; 3 (3.5'') floppy's control software
Its RRP is claimed to be Aust$899.38 (April 1998)
It's frequency range is rated at 10Khz to 1300Mhz
the give a good comprehensive reveiw in the magazine which is more than I can
