Thanks. I haven't checked his website for quite a while.

As I recall it, his appeal was based on several errors of FACT
--- that they hadn't proved that he had ever planted their seeds,
and that the claimed 400 samples taken by them over a wide area
of his crops were actually only two taken from near the borders
of his property --- and of LAW --- that genomes are not
patentable under Canadian law.

Strangely these facts were ignored by the appeal board.

Let us hope that this case will eventually prove to be a victory
for justice and common sense, and not just another one for the
party that can field the most powerful team of lawyers.
