There are a number of states now that prohibit mobile use of scanners. It
is enough of a problem that the FCC found it necessary to declare a Federal
pre-emption over licensed amateur radio gear that can be used as scanners.
A number of hams have had their equipment seized under these state laws.
Haven't you been following the thread? If your BBS allows you to reset
your message pointers, go back about 50 or 60 messages and start reading.
