I disagree...  But I think it was well said in the above, "...anything OTHER 
than ham...".  It IS a HAM Radio echo, so if you are looking to discuss "Ham 
Radio" (or even just 'lurk' and learn a bit by just reading) it IS the place 
to go.  You said you were interested in "HAM Radio" so why limit yourself by 
getting JUST the less structured areas ?!  Of course those that like to RANT 
& RAVE about unrelated topics, can go elsewhere...  The moderator of the HAM 
echo is a VERY fair individual, except in the eyes of those that have 
challenged the guidelines, and been 'kicked in the keyster'.
