I have made up my mind not to listen to mine. He sits up there in the
age
all day and sqawaks nonsense about his being the boss bird of the whole world
and I have to tell everybody that there is not a word of truth in it.
Seriously, he's still young and we don't know for certain that he's a
ale.
Thanks to all of you people who have given me some tips. Right now he's
enjoying the mirror so much that I can't find myself worrying about whether
he's going to talk or not. He is pecking millet from my hand but hasn't yet
actually PERCHED on my hand. He's still only extending his head gingerly and
a foot occasionally strays onto my hand. I'm patient, though. Gotta get
ome
veggies for him but I know one has to watch out for pesticides, etc.
Sincerely,
Frank
