I hope 'they' don't get their way.  What is their objection to  Quakers?
'They' say our local parrots are not 'native' so can't  be put under
protection.  That's patently ridiculous since the native conures can't
tell Mexico from Texas, and you can't tell Mexican parrots from Texas
parrots.
