Anothe Idea for the bird poop problem around the cage.- I went to Lowes and 
found some linoleum that went well with My living room carpet and bought A 
sheet of plywood and some corner trim. I cut the wood the size I needed to go 
under the cage and covered it with the linoleum then put the trim around the 
edges. Now even if My wife decides to rearange the furniture the the linoleum 
can go with the cage. It looks neat and is very easy to clean. This also 
eeps
the food from geting all over the carpet. But one thing You will have to get 
used to is the fact that where there is A bird there is going to be A mess. 
You can keep it from geting too bad but it will always be there.
