I must agree that EMACS is not a good reason to avoid doing a Linux-TSE
port. For one thing, I have a pet peeve about programs that try to do
everything. A mail program should be a mail program, an editor should be
an editor. EMACS tries to do everything and becomes a hulking slow monster
in the process. I'm not knocking EMACS, but TSE is in a whole other class
for the fast, simple, familiar-to-the-rest-of-us, editor task.
