Rich, I can't remember seeing a feather picked Mollucan...Umbrella, yes.
However, I do believe that even Cockatoos can learn to entertain themselves
for part of the day. Unfortunately, most people I have known want to be with
the bird constantly...at first. Then as time goes on they change the
schedule and the bird becomes frustrated. This is not just a Cockatoo
problem, either.
Boomer, my little Lesser Sulfer Crested knows that night time is her time.
She hears the car door and starts her quacking and doesn't quit until she is
out.
Suggie, my Grey, just gets pissed off and throws his food or water dish.
