Why should you get an amateur radio license?

If your at all interested in rf electronics and want a wealth of
room and help in this field, then an amateur radio license is
the way to go.

But if you really don't like to experiment...why bother? There are
lots of other things to keep you busy on the internet. I have been
a ham for about 25 years and my interest has jumped from one aspect
of the hobby to another. But there has always been that itch
to experiment with electronics that amateur radio has helped
to fuel. I currently make my living from electronics and I
give full credit to amateur radio for getting me started AND
continueing to keep me interested in my work.

Just my two cents worth.
