 Well, maybe I just wasn't in a SK mood when I tried reading the book...after
 talking with all you guys here I shall have to go and try to read it

 I also had the same problem with one of his earlier books "The Talisman"..
 it just didn't hold my interest; found it very boring, so I quit reading
 it...again I will try to read it someday soon...I have already tried a
 couple of times with "The Talisman" but to no avail...
 What other books of SK's do you like?  Have you read the Gunslinger series?
 I'm glad that the new installment is finally out...I am going to start
 the series again just to get up to speed...I read a lot of books, so my 
rain
 will need a tune up in that series, just to remember what is going on..
