Oh, right! I forgot that all the waste comes out of the same hole and
is mixed.
We DO have a problem though. I took the bird to an avian vet for a complete
going-over last week, including extensive blood work and cultures and she
notified me yesterday that the bird has a yeast infection in her mouth that
probably is widespread, and a enterobacter coli infection in her vents. Plus,
the lab strongly suggests a test for Beak and Feather Disease but they didn't
have enough blood to do the test. Sooo...off to the vet for blood drawing
and picking up antibiotics and antifungals with vigorous cleaning of the
cage every day. Sheesh.
... Anything not permenently nailed down is a parrot toy...
