No, it doesn't! This is a thread for another echo, but it's actually
fun to use once you learn it. It's the learning process that makes it
so sucky. Once I made up my mind to learn it, it only took me 3 months
to get to 8 wpm, enough to pass the novice test with some room to spare.
It took a year of daily cw contacts and I was at 15wpm + and took the
general test. Practically ALL of my HF contacts have been on CW. I have
a hearing disability that makes it next-to-impossible to copy SSB.
