Jesus had a hand in that modem :) It works all the time.  I use to be a
ZyXEL fan, I mean I was a mark.  There 14.4 modem was the best on this
earth. There ability to work with Frontdoor and receive faxes via the
mailer were the first in the industry.. They at one time or an other set
standards that others could only follow.

As the modems got faster ZyXEL could make the firmware capable of doing the
speeds... as we went to 288 ++ speeds ZyXEL fell to the way side.  On the
otherhand....  Any USR modem became a 28.8 or a 33.6 with a small upgrade
of the daughter board... I have to keep buying modems... I had dropped a
lot of money on their new ISDN/28.8 modem and would have had to shell  out
money to get 33.6 (WOW). BTW, I did end up shelling lout a load of money to
get a ZyXEL 56K modem (Idiot)

Anyway, should have learned... The Courier is a work horse and one of the
best modems going.... ever... and still!!!

Ohhhhh this is the intermail echo not the USR echo... The Courier works fine with IM.
