JS>> If you like you could take a look at "http://pkt3.darktech.org/". JS>> Maybe you can use some of the ideas? DR> OK I've read everything. I am interested. Who else is working on this DR> and what is the current status of people working on this? Can you DR> link them into this echo? Håkan (2:200/0) and Micael (2:204/710) are the other two main contributors, and they are both linked to this echo. I don't know if they're reading though. I know Håkan is also very busy with "real life" stuff at the moment though. The project is currently sleeping, because noone has had the time/energy to take the lead and move it forward. It's also a bit disappointing to take all incoming fire in FTSC_PUBLIC/NET_DEV as soon as one mention the word XML. I do believe it has a very good potential though... DR> So this iFBB runs on Win32 platform? I will have to check it out and DR> see what it is. Yeah, I think Micael is a "Microsoft" guy so he's using IIS and ASP and other nasty stuff. I'm more of a GNU/Linux and Apache/PHP guy myself. The good thing with XML is that it's pretty universal so we get along fine anyway... ;-) JS>> Further more, I have a home cooked Java/SQL Fido system that can JS>> import JS>> and export messages in both Type 2+ and XML. It currently uses the JS>> format on the web site listed above. It's not production quality yet JS>> but it's proof that it can be done. :-) DR> So where are you going with it? What does the future look like to you? I'd like to finish it up and start using it at my main system (currently I'm only using it at this private test system). I hope to be able to add the last few bits and get it up and running this autumn/winter.
