Southern California monitoring enthusiasts over a wide area were among
the many who heard firsthand of the on-duty death of a Los Angeles City
Firefighter.
Many have asked what they might do in remembrance of Captain Joseph
Dupee.
I encourage you to take a moment to put pen to paper for his surviving
family. I can hardly imagine anything less sensitive than a stack of
computer printouts. Instead, I encourage those who feel so inclined to
send their personalized condolences via postal mail to:
The Family of Joseph Dupee
c/o the Los Angeles Firemen's Relief Association

Los Angeles, CA 90026
I am certain that Dupee' s wife Julieann, a 2-year-old son, and a
10-day-old son that was born on his last birthday, will draw tremendous
solace from such handwritten notes for years to come.
While Captain Dupee's family has not yet chosen an honorarium, many
(including some prominent monitoring enthusiasts) have inquired where
they might send a donation to help offset his young family's true and
pressing needs.

knowing that they will ALWAYS be taken care of. Your donation will help
Firefighters shoulder less of the burden. The Relief Association has a

Thanks in advance for your generosity and kind handwritten words.
