I didn't yet get the original message from Michael, but Police Call isn't 
particularly helpful for RR frequencies. They just list everything the RR has 
assigned to it, whether it's worth listening to or not. His best bet is to 
ask a railfan. Anyone hanging around the Modesto yard with a scanner and a 
camera is sure to know the best frequencies. For a great webpage, try

does not point out which ones are best for your area.
