Regarding your interest in JFAX71, I might be able to give you some
assistance. But first I will need to know the particulars of your
scanner etc. Basically need to know if you can receive either of the
sidebands. (USB/LSB.) Also if you can receive the maritime bands. This
is the area where shore stations talk to ships at sea. NAM @ Norfolk VA
transmits 24 hrs FAX. If while you are listening to the radio you find
a station that seems to be sending what sounds like a stuck record player
that just keeps sending a scratching sound, you have found one.
If I can Help  you just ask. Only thing is that I  am very slow in getting
back with answer.
