I saw on TV the other night that they use doves because when they're
scared, they just hunker down.  Mine does THAT plenty good. 
I've got a friend whose conure lives loose in the house. The BACK of her
bathroom door is a MESS! Urk.  That sucker flies outside and comes back
to the window and raises hell until she goes and lets him in. Scares
heck out of me, but she's SURE he's reliable.
He's certainly TOUGH enough.  Kicks the crap out of her cat!
