Well, when ONE baby out of a multiple chick clutch takes a dislike to
the handfeeder, it's the baby's choice. It has happened to friends of
mine, as well as to people I've met on the internet. Birds DO have
opinions...just feeding them does NOT make them automatically love you,
not even the babies!

Selling to a dealer is again different from selling to a one-time
handfeeder buyer. One would hope a dealer would KNOW how to handfeed
before investing that much money in a clutch of birds they intended to
resell. And there is also a difference between teaching someone who
wants to learn everything there is to know for a future purpose (like
planning to breed birds), and teaching someone who just wants to 'bond
with their bird'.
This is an argument that has no end.  Been through this dozens of times.
Final comment is that they're your birds and you will do as you please
with them, just as I will do with mine. Only a final tally will show who
was right...keep close records.
