I learned it from a Catholic priest who raised canaries as his hobby! He
was, at one time, president of a bird club I belonged to years ago!!!
I don't know if he invented the idea, but it sure does work great!

That's "Bird Aerobics", and you can't make him stop...that's what keeps
him in good health. Only thing you might do is make a bigger flight cage
so he can FLY instead of the stationary flapping workout.
