I don't know anything about Tiels at all, but I know TOO much about the
lowlifes that rob nests around here.
To put this into perspactive, let me say that right now, we're holding
seminars for our local policemen. ETHICS seminars. Someone said they'd
never HAD one so how would they KNOW?  (A local small town just fired
everyone from the Chief of Police to the DOGCATCHER, because they were
ALL indicted for drug trafficing.)
Now, if the COPS are so unethical as to need training, wouldn't it maybe
stand to reason that the Utility workers might see nothing wrong with
robbing nestholes of wild parrot chicks? "It's not against the law!"
they retort when you catch one at it and offer to drop him on his head!
I have friends who have 'caught' parrots just as you say.  Well and
good.  That's fine, parrots are gregarious.  Wild parrots need
protection!  Especially here.
