TR> Why don't you just change your script to look for their terminal sever TR> banner rather than a login promopt? Thanks for the response, Trev. They are now back to the expected "Name and Password" prompts =BUT= I still can't use them :-(. I appear to complete the logon and NOS says it is looking for the server address and then just sits there until it times out. I have tried using both the domain name and the actual address but it still just sits... >> I have another server so I thought I'd try them. They >> have a funny setup. They were a BBS which became an >> ISP. So, when you call, their software says, >> "checking for ppp connection... 8 second delay - press >> CTRL X to abort to BBS". The system apparently never >> detects that FNOS is a ppp connection and drops >> through to the BBS :-(! Any way to solve this? TR> I would presume that setting your PPP connective type to active rather TR> than passive will fix this one. I checked FNOS's ppp settings and it is set for active rather than passive but it's still not realising that I am a ppp call apparently. Any other suggestions? ==Ed== ---* Origin: -=[RA-USA]=- FD/FDAPX/FE/RA Shareware Registrations (1:360/1) SEEN-BY: 54/99 270/101 623/681 711/413 430 934 712/407 623 624 704 @PATH: 360/1 170/400 396/1 270/101 712/624 711/934 |
