Hi, Kurt... KW>folks, i've got a question for you all and i'm hoping to hear from as KW>many people who read these echos as possible... I like the postings...I forward them to a special local area message base on virus protection. While I check the Sophos site for info, I download and use F-Prot myself. I used to use McAfee, but went to F-Prot, as it was cheaper, and it offered a DOS version. I still have users who occasionally logon to the BBS with older systems that won't run Windows...and the DOS version of F-Prot is free for non-commercial use. The virus writers and spammers are getting more and more crafty and cruel with their schemes...and it amazes me how many people get suckered into them...and the same goes with hoaxes. I check Sophos, F-Secure, and McAfee, for hoax information. I used to fall for these myself, but now check the sites every time I get a "strange email".
