GK! How you doing? I thought you were gonna be getting back over
to this side of The Pond soon. Give me a call, mate.
As for TTH, what part of the joke don't you get? The original song,
"Achy Breaky Heart", is about this yokel who offers up his body parts
to his ex-lady in a vein effort to get her back. The chorus goes:
Don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart,
I just don't think it'd understand,
'Cause if you tell my heart, my achy breaky heart,
You'd (something something) prob'ly kill this man, whoooo!
Or something like that. Thankfully, I'm forgetting more of the
words every day. Anyway, I just slapped Edgar Allen Poe's "The
Tell-Tale Heart" onto it.
I guess this is gonna get my in trouble with the Filkers' Local No. 1
now, isn't it? ;) (And a big slap in the belly with a wet fish to
The Magicians' Brotherhood Of America.)
