7U> Well, I only know one language let alone writing it. :)
Ml> Don't they teach you foreign languages in school?
They did when I went to school, Frans, FRENCH was compulsory starting in grade
eight and into grade nine. BTW my French teacher in grade eight was Dutch
Canadian and she could speak, read and write French fluently. I would have had
her for my French teacher in grade nine, too, but she was killed during summer
vacation when she went to Ottawa to visit relatives. What a sad loss to the
world that was. She was loved by everyone of her students and all around her.
It could have been her Dutch origin that had a heck of a lot to do with that as
far as I'm concerned anyway. If she can see me now, she's probably smiling
and saying, "Well, Vera, I know you hated French, but I know you didn't hate
your teacher and for a reason known to both of us, I can understand why you're
saying as much in DUTCH as you're able to and it was all your own idea, too.
Stick with it and you'll get there one day."
