Seems really | KB> I am sure the settings for the modem are correct in both | KB> InterMail and Renegade (Com 1, Int 4, address 3f8) but I just can't | KB> get it to answer the call. I did try Int 2 and 3 as well but no Intermail should have "RING|" (no quotes) for Ring string. Init should include the chars S0=0 (no auto answer, let Intermail do it) and Answer should be set to ATA|. If you're on the wrong COM port, then try COM2 (Irq 3, 2F8) otherwise IRQ 4 (3F8) is correct for COM1 . I use a Courier V.Everything with Intermail and Wildcat and it works just fine. The only problem I had is that Init should start with AT&F1... and Reset should be ATZ (my old modem had a Rockwell chip and used &F0 for both). -- Be well :^) : Ben aka cMech http://bellsouthpwp.net/c/m/cmech617/ : + WildCat!
