The pad is shaped something like this:

But a lot more curvy..  I'm no ascii artist..  ;)  My picture makes it look 
uncumfortable, but it isn't..  6 buttons on the front..  (Perfect for capcom 
beat em ups..  LP MP HP on the top three buttons, LK MK HK on the bottom 
three..  then two shoulder buttons to assign to anything you like)
